Keep your collars clean and standing tall By Janine Giorgenti If you know anything about me, you know I’m a big fan of dress shirt collars
Style Check: Fall 1. An updated sports coat. Tip: plaids are smoking hot. Look for a trimmer fit, with a flap or – the trendier – patch pockets. 2. A v-neck or crew neck sweater vest
Snug. Comfortable. Stylish.

Your dress shirt collar should fit comfortably, without being loose. Ideally, you want your collar to fit as ‘snug’ as possible, without sacrificing comfort. When your neck is buttoned, you should be able to fit 1-2 fingers in between your neck and the collar. Conversely, you do not want too much space between your neck and collar.
